Who we are

LavaEgg Scheduler is scheduling software operated by LAVA EGG LLC. This policy describes how LAVA EGG LLC handles information when someone uses LavaEgg Scheduler, including an owner workspace, a public booking page, and booking text messages.

LavaEgg Scheduler sends those text messages from one shared number for every business that uses the software. A client business, such as the business named in a booking, does not write or send the messages. Tap4Tables is LAVA EGG LLC's own table-and-chair rental business. Texts about a Tap4Tables rental are still sent by LavaEgg Scheduler and begin with "LavaEgg Scheduler:". Tap4Tables is not the sender.

Information we collect

What we collect depends on how you use LavaEgg Scheduler.

• Account and workspace. When an owner signs in, we receive the LavaEgg account identity needed to open an authorized project, such as a name, email address, and sign-in identifiers. The workspace can hold services, availability, staff, resources, and appointments the owner stores.
• Booking details. When a customer books, we receive the details submitted on the form, such as a name, contact information, the service or rental, and the requested time.
• Text-message consent. If you tick the optional text-message box, the booking stores tenantId, bookingId, phone (E.164), smsConsent true or false, the disclosure version and its SHA-256 hash, the privacy and terms versions, the consent timestamp (UTC), the source (web, Android, iOS, or Tap4Tables checkout), and the IP address and user agent. STOP and START events are stored in a shared opt-out table. If you leave the box unchecked, the booking can still be completed and smsConsent is false.
• Technical data. Our hosting systems record ordinary request data such as the page requested, the time, and security logs.

How we use information

We use this information to provide LavaEgg Scheduler, to authenticate owners, to create and show bookings, to send the transactional booking texts described below, to honor STOP, START, and HELP, to keep the service secure, and to meet legal duties. We do not use mobile numbers or text-message consent to send marketing.

How we share information

We share information in these categories:

• The business you booked with. That business receives the booking details, including your phone number, so it can provide the appointment or rental. It does not receive your text-message consent for marketing.
• Service providers. Twilio delivers text messages for us. Google Firebase provides sign-in for LavaEgg accounts. Hosting and infrastructure providers serve this website and the Scheduler service. They process information for those purposes.
• Legal and safety. We may share information when the law requires it, or when it is needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of LAVA EGG LLC, our customers, or the public.
• A business transfer. If LAVA EGG LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, business information may transfer as part of that transaction.
• Marketing partners and affiliates. We do not share mobile information or text-message consent with affiliates or other third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won't be shared with any third parties.

Text messages (SMS)

LavaEgg Scheduler is a product of LAVA EGG LLC. If you tick the optional text-message box when you book with a business that uses LavaEgg Scheduler, or when you book a Tap4Tables rental, LavaEgg Scheduler will text you about that booking: confirmations, reminders, and changes or cancellations. We use your mobile number and your consent only to send those messages and to answer HELP and STOP requests. Our SMS provider, Twilio, delivers the messages for us. The business you booked with receives your booking details, including your phone number, so it can serve you, but it does not receive your text-message consent for marketing. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won't be shared with any third parties. Message frequency varies, usually 2-4 messages per booking. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Questions: support@lavaegg.com.

Message types are transactional only: booking confirmations, reminders, changes or cancellations, the opt-in confirmation, and HELP, STOP, and START replies. No marketing messages are sent. Because every LavaEgg Scheduler text comes from one number, STOP applies to that whole number. Replying STOP ends texts about bookings with every business that uses LavaEgg Scheduler, including Tap4Tables. Reply START or UNSTOP to resubscribe. Msg & data rates may apply. Consent to texts is not a condition of booking.

How long we keep information

We keep account, booking, and consent records, including the IP address and user agent stored with a consent record, for as long as needed to provide LavaEgg Scheduler, to honor STOP and START, and to meet legal duties. STOP and START events stay in the shared opt-out table so an opt-out continues to be honored until the person resubscribes.

Your choices

The text-message box is optional and unchecked until you tick it. You can book without ticking it. Reply STOP to opt out of booking texts at any time, START to resubscribe, or HELP for help. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect the information we hold. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure.

Children

LavaEgg Scheduler is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version at this URL and change the effective date above. The text-message checkbox links to this page, including the text-message section.
